About The Role
We currently have an opportunity for a professional and enthusiastic individual to form part of our Acute Care Sales Team, reporting to the State Sales Manager. This role will see you develop and implement the sales strategy for the acute care territory to achieve revenue growth and profit targets. The role requires a high performing sales professional with key relationships across the public and private hospital sectors, and a passion to exceed customer expectations. The role requires a collaborative individual who understands the dynamic health care environment and the ability to adapt to the changing needs of both the organisation and the customer.

To be successful you should fulfill most of the following requirements: 

  • Proven track record of driving sales growth
  • An understanding of the Australian Public and Private hospital system and the key issues of the Medical Industry
  • Existing relationships with various stakeholders within the hospital environment highly desirable
  • Ability to build effective relationships internally and externally
  • High level of business skills including analytical, negotiation, market research, communications and territory strategy development/management
  • Project Management experience, ability to lead support function activities within designated corporate/private/public health accounts to achieve the account plan. Appropriate delegation skills and ability to manage the coordination of information.
  • Understanding of the regional market landscape including legal, healthcare, business culture, competition and standard clinical practices
  • Strong forward planning, organizational and time management skills
  • High proficiency in Microsoft operating environment 
  • A passion for customer service and solution selling
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Ability to be flexible in a changing and challenging environment
