Surgical Pack assembly is the core of our business. We have 7 assembly sites worldwide including Australia; we have experienced tremendous growth and expansion in this market. Medline’s Surgical Procedure Packs and Supply Chain Solutions allow hospitals to run efficiently by eliminating process steps in purchasing, material handling, inventory and accounting.

About The Role
We currently have an opportunity for a professional and enthusiastic individual to form part of our dynamic Marketing team as a Clinical Consultant ANZ. Reporting to the Director SPT Division, you will be responsible of managing the clinical activities across the business in line with the individual marketing strategies of each product portfolio. Provide support and assessing ongoing clinical education, you will need to ensure best clinical practices are being adopted using our products. The position requires a commercially focused clinical leader who has a deep understanding of the company’s business priorities to drive Medline's clinical value proposition in market.

Primary responsibilities

  • Understand the needs of a broad range of specialties within the Aged Care and Acute Care environments, a specific understanding of the theatre environment is essential.
  • Support the development and implementation of Medline clinical strategies, identify opportunities to enhance and increase the company’s reputation, visibility in market and revenue generation.
  • Develop and implement clinical training to the internal team (e.g. Account Managers, Customer Service and Production) to ensure appropriate knowledge about our products and clinical practice. This includes responsibility for conducting the ACORN Medical Representatives in the OR training program for Medline employees.
  • Customer interfacing activity with all healthcare professionals within the peri-operative environment and other healthcare facilities to keep abreast of any developments or changes in clinical practice. This includes, but is not limited to, supporting product trials within healthcare facilities.
  • Manage, and provide customer education on the Organisation’s online education platform for Clinicians.
  • Provide comprehensive clinical leadership across to the Product Management Team, the Sales Team and Sales Operation Support (SOS) team. This includes providing advice on various activities – training, marketing collateral, literature and peer review, alignment of standards and clinical practice. As well as, evaluation of sterile pack recipes for specific procedures and confirming the suitability of components included within the packs.
  • Provide clinical expertise to Regulatory Affairs, Quality Affairs and other departments as required.
  • Knowledge and experience with facilitation of in-services and demonstrations within the theatre environment.

You will have experience in providing clinical education, theatre management, medical supplies management or sales & marketing.

Registered Nursing qualification required.
To be successful in this position you will need a minimum of 3+ years of experience in the Peri-Operative environment across multiple specialties - preferably in an instrument nurse role.
This position will require you to think on your feet, have excellent verbal and written communication skills with a logical manner and acute attention to detail, organisational and hands-on problem solving skills and intermediate Excel skills.
